Personally, two years ago I was invited to become a trainer for Tantrick after about 18 months of using the product. I now do the re-training for Tantrick so that other techs can become trainers themselves.

The most exciting training for me will be when Berins arrives in the country as I have been invited to be part of the team of trainers from WOWFactors to show product knowledge and eventually waxing training for anyone who wants to learn waxing from scratch, right through to advance training. This is very exciting for me as waxing is my passion and being part of a country wide training team that will be offering fantastic accredited training is just the dogs muts to me.

Bring it on :)

Are you thinking of doing training yourself Jenny?

well ive always wanted to get into training from the word go and was a trainer for a large retail outlet before i gave it all up to change my direction. I guess it never left me really so when the oppotunity arose i jumped at it.

what better advice to receive than from someone who is a trainer....no matter what discipline they are in...aren't they best versed to give advice....

im a trainer for tantrick and ive just been appointed to head up berins in the uk. this is a reflection on my capabilities which I have worked so hard for. always striving to keep abreast of new techniques and methods that are out there as well as embracing the male market full on which is now the majority of my business

it is a joy to be able to pass on my knowledge to those that seek advice. im no expert and never will be because i class a expert as knowing it all and I feel that no one can no it all in this industry as it is so rapidly evolving all the time. there are however a lot of very knowledgeable and talented people that are trainers and i hold my hat off to them all.

being a trainer and helping people reach there full potential in any discipline that i teach means the world to me and i love it when my students call me and dont feel any way about asking a simple silly question as i am what i am - no heirs no graces - just me Tracey. what you see is what you get. ive been where they are and i know what it was like and i want to help all my students reach there full potential. my training continues even after they have passed there course.

are you thinking of getting in to training then !!!

Yes I too noticed that there a lot of trainers on here. Every week a new spray tan trainer seems to be on board.

Really Marie... I haven't noticed any new trainers introducing themselves for a while? :)

It's the same with everything...

At one point there was a couple of wax trainers / experts now there's loads.

Is it because there all equally as good?
Or some have seen others being successfull at training and thought i'll do that and get a slice of the pie?
or just some trainers never promoted themselves and now they are?

It's all very confusing but it's happening in all spheres not just tanning!

I got my teaching certifcate 18 years so don't think that I've jumped on the bandwagon as such.

Although, just recently I became an accredited tutor, which means I write my own courses, get them accredited and teach them.

I have done this after working in a few further education colleges and also in the community.

I feel that I've 'earn't my wings' by continuously being involved in the teaching side which has run alongside my therapy business.

Hope that answers one of your questions.

Oh, and I teach holistic therapies but not waxing or spray tanning.

Well I have been waxing in the industry for almost 5 years now with extensive training. I don't see myself as an expert in anyway.. but do I see myself as having enough skill to teach it to other people.. hell yes! I will be training to accreditation level once I am in a position to do so... and that is my main goal that I am aiming for right now.

When I first started out doing nails I never considered myself as being a trainer as I never had the confidence but with my tanning and waxing I do have the confidence and want to pass on this confidence to other like minded people who want to excel in their field.

Expert no... slice of the pie.. oh yes!!!:hug:

I think it's a great thing to have educators/trainers on the site, from what I can see we have a fair few nail educators and tanning trainers but no skin or hair....why is that do you think?

I would love if to pick any to become a waxing trainer, i just love it, and even though i only have a select few ladies at the min, the ladies i am doing are thoses who lack confidence and feel confident in me. Looking forward to trying the berrins, if i beleive in a product like i do perron rogot i will be chuffed if berins is better. Becoming a waxing trainer now that would be brill:)x
