I always find that my left handed students feel more comfortable standing to the left of the client (by their left arm). You should also put your wax trolley etc on that side. xxx

As a left handed waxer (and trainer) Kim is quite correct in saying that you will find it better for you if you are on the left hand side of your client.

I know in a lot of things being trained by a right handed person to do something can be confusing for us lefties. I was taught by my mother to knit but of course the right handed way and it just didn't "feel" right. I also play golf right handed and again, something is missing.

If ever you are over Manchester way, give me a call and I'll see if I can help you out in any way.

I seem to find it easiest to wax the right side of my client with my left hand while standing on the right side of the client, then when I move to their left I seem to automatically switch to my right hand. I tried to keep to waxing with my left hand, but find this way is sometimes easier for me.

I understand how hard it is for us lefties to learn a technique demonstrated by a right-hander. My nail tutor gave up in frustration when trying to show me how to hold my file - I still can't do this correctly:mad:

I'm a lefty but seems to switch hands (just passed my course :)) I think it's getting the angle you pull off at that matters just make sure you don't pull up, this is what I was tending to do not sure if its a lefty problem  I'd just get your tutor to watch you while you wax and she will if she was as good as mine be able to correct your problems xx
