hi geeks, I'm looking for some opinions.....I'm trying to ease myself back into work as a self employed mobile therapist. At the mo I've trained in tanning, mani & pedi and am studying my vctc level 2 nail tech at college.
I really fancy waxing and would like to do Kim's beginners course, BUT I'm unsure what impact carrying out this service would have on my health. I've had ME for 9 years and have to manage my energy quite carefully and of the services I am considering waxing is the most physically demanding.
I wonder if there are any other geeks who have health issues to consider and how they have managed?
Thank you, Lou xx

I dont have any health issues so i cant help on that front sorry.
But i do both tanning & waxing and by far tanning required allot more energy and moving around than waxing does.
I also trained with kim ( Shes fab).... waxing requires allot of pulling back of the skin which you have to hold pressure down on your hands when doing this and obivously moving around the couch when needs be.
Other than that rest is standing there.

Hths x

Hi Lou. Difficult one, but my gut instinct is to hold off on the waxing until you have you ME under control.......or better still it goes (I've known lots of people who are now well).

Waxing takes a lot of energy. So, if you plan on doing a small amount of waxing, then go for it. Otherwise, take it easy for now.

Call me if you'd like to have a chat about it. Xxx
