Hi All

I did a training course with a local trainer and still havent recieved my certificate nearly 10 weeks later! My friend did a course with her a few weeks back and I went as a model so I asked her then and she said that she had posted it but I had recieved it. She said that she would post it with my friends certificate and we still havent recieved anything! We have tried contacting her, emailing her and nothing. Does anyone have any advice? Someone suggested reporting her to her training body but we dont know who this is?

I dont really want to be performing these treatments without a certificate for insurance purposes!

Any tips would be recommended!

Thanks :)

When you first booked in with her did she advise you that her courses were accredited..and if yes with whom...you could contact there accredited sponsor....if she didn't tell you maybe because you didn't ask maybe see if anything is mentioned on her website.

If she was training a specific brand maybe get onto the brand.

I would phone the lady and request the certificate again or even suggest picking it up that way it can't get lost in the post, if you are still unsuccesful i would definatley consider reporting this person as its bad practice and totally unprofessional. On the other hand im sure world will soon get around what this person is like (if it hasn't already) and not many people will be keen to book training with them!!

From what I have heard since doing some digging I think it already has!!!

Chase her up and explain how important it is. Explain that you need this to get your insurance! xx

Im trying but if she's not answering there's not much I can do grrrrrr.....:(

Call the company who her courses are accredited by. Good luck x

Thats what I want to do Kim but I have no idea who acredits it!

Call in yourself- there is nothing as effective as a person determined to wait on the premises until they are sorted.

It was in her house! I feel I have been severly conned!!!!

Ok....let's go back to the beginning. Where was the course advertised and did you have any emails or paperwork with the company details on? xx

Kim, I will pm you when I get to work with details, you will know why then. :)

Thanks to everyone who messaged me with advice and all of you local people guessed exactly who it was so I'm obviously not the first!
