Just been looking at train times etc for the PB show on 1st March - only to discover they have engineering works on this date and no trains are running near 'west ham' stop - the one i need to change at to get to London Excel!

I have no idea about train routes etc! Do i try and find an alternative route, or contemplate driving??? Does anyone know what parking is like at Excel and how much it costs?

Thanks in advance

You could get off at Barking (if you are going via Fenchurch line) and take the District Line to Embankment and onto Docklands Light Railway. (Can't remember everything exactly as I don't have a train/underground map to hand).

You could always get the train to Liverpool Street and from there get to Excel.

I suggest you get an underground map from any underground or mainline station. You will be able to work out alternative routes from that.

Maybe some of the Essex Geeks might be able to help you with a lift. I have went by car a couple of times in the past (when I lived in Hornchurch) at it was very easy. Can't remember the parking costs - you will be able to find out on the Excel website.

Ive been trying to figure out what train i need im useless LOL just thought if i get to liverpool street i can figure the rest from there :lol:

OK, I had to look it up! :)

Take the central line (red at the map) from Liverpool Street Station to Bond Street. Change there to Jubilee line (gray at the map) to Canning town and change there for the DLR train. I think this will be the best...

Haha, can you believe this came from a Norwegian? :-D

Good luck and see you there! :-D

:hug:C.

there has been plenty of parking at excel for the last 2 years, as i think most people get the train in or are staying over. If i remember right it was about £10 to park, have a look on the excel website xx
