Dont shoot me down for saying like minx but thats the only way I can think of the discribe them.
Anyway....anyone tried them? I got some at the beauty show in Birmingham, used them on myself and although a little rough around the edges due to it being my first attempt they look ok.
however
today I tried to do my friends toenails and they didnt look half as good as mine, the edges had a few little tiny creases in ( if you looked close up)

Anyone else tried them? got any tips for application?
Id like to try Minx but all the training courses are so far away from me and Im not sure how much the course costs ( pm me if you know)
:D;)

hi, ive tried the trendy and the minx.. minx are alot neater especialy on fingers,,, x

I have them and love them, haven't tried Minx so cannot comment. If you heat the wrap and stretch it over the nail and smooth either with a hoof stick or something similar this will smooth out any creases or wrinkles, just takes a bit of practice. I have some photos in my album of the professional cut ones if you want to have a look. :D

I agree with this! Just takes a little getting used to. When you heat them up they feel much more pliable and you can stretch them and smooth them nicely. Some nails will be more difficult than others and i'm sure some designs are more forgiving too! xxxx

I have just had my first go today on my own toes, also got the tiny creases so had to take them of. Had problems getting them to fill the nail properly so i guess these are normal teething probs x

Yes they are, just reheat and make sure you stretch over the free edge of the nail. ;)

If you don't get the ones with those horrid ridges, the are quite nice to work with.

I have a pic in my album of some if you want to peep at them :) These was done just using a hairdryer

Angie - you dont have to do training with Minx if you are already a trained therapist / nail pro however it is FREE with the cost of a kit. You are closest to London and Ketan holds Minx days EVERY Friday! Hope this helps.;)
