hi ya im having two different troubles.

i have recently set up a beauty room im using creative l & p and ibd for gels. ive done 3 sets 2 gel and 1 acrylic.

problem 1:- is when im blending my tip in, its not blending neat it lifts alittle then i file to get rid of it, then it moves down to the point ive nearly filed the well away. ( i hope that makes sense)

problem 2:- is im having tips lifting of at the free edge, and the l & p and gel is cracking at the well line not the stress area cos its too far up. ive checked my stress area and ive built it up enough.
do you think its cos the glue im using is crap that the tips are lifting and cracking that far up.

i have recently moved from a salon to set up on my own and my nails were fine until i moved, the only thing i have change is the nail glue which is mercia, i used to use 5 second bond by ibd.

any help would be great just dont want to get a crap name for myself.

thanks and soz for the long winded message
xxxxxxx:grr:

Problem 1= can be easily solved by using well less tips so you no longer need to do any blending, (performance tips from creative)

problem 2= i think you have answered that one yourself, go back to what you know works (if it ain't broke don't fix it) the IBD glue
hth:hug:

thank you for your help/ suggestions. so with the well less tips do you just glue them on and then put you l&p or gel over the top. doesnt it show the line of the tips or do you use that as your smile line?

you use it as the smile line.
well less tips are attatched to the very edge of the natural nail.

like if you were putting french tips on just a small area of the natural nail?
i sound dumb but never been shown how to use them x

yes. to the position of the tips, not to the sounding dumb bit.

Hi Hun,
Try the performance tips, I am wearing them now, they are fab. Bond them on, cut and file to desired length, no blending, then overlay with L & P or gel which ever your client prefers, remember to build your stress area.
I have tried this time , first time ever to adhere mine with L & P, I am very happy with the results, I don't like bond on my natural nail, I will have to see how they last. Been on a week now and not a budge.
Good luck, and go back to what you know works for you.
Lotsa luv x
