What is a good UV light to use to cure gel? Does the wattage matter? I have found some that say they are compatible with any gel system...are these okay to use?

All gel products are specifically formulated to work with the UV lamp developed for that gel system. If you use a lamp with lower or higher levels of UV output you will not achieve optimum cure. In addition, you may experience service breakdown and other problems because of under-cured product. And while the nails may look cured, without using the proper lamp, they may not have completed the curing process. Conversely, lamps that produce levels of UV output much higher than necessary to cure a particular gel, over-curing can occur and the product can overheat due to excessive eothermic reaction and can lead to enhancement brittleness, service breakdown, onycholysis and possible discolouration. It is vital to the success of all gel products that technicians uses the UV lamp that was disigned for the gel products they have choosen to use.

ie Brisa Gel = Brisa Gel Lamp

Trust this helps
