I would like your opinions please!

If anyone has a website with vista print. would you recommend? i need a website ASAP!

Thanks

I don't like the fact that they only offer you a limited range of templates; also they are actually more expensive than certain professional web designers in the long term, as they charge you a fee every month.

I can't say, as it would break Geek Commandment #6

But it's none of the template based ones that churn out crap HTML...

Milly it's a case of what u put in is what I get out, if you use your own images or buy the right ones the temple sites can be fine an a very inexpenive way to run a web site, it's not just the design that can cost with Taylor made sites it's the running cost! Trust me you don't need to pay for a site to look good

I've heard more good than bad re vista 1&1.co.uk have good deals and web builder software.

Hope this helps.

Hi Milly, the problem with the template sites is that they quite often all look the same......I know that custom sites can be very expensive, but that's not always the case.
Ruth herself designs and builds websites, I don't have a site myself (yet) but have seen other geeks' sites which she has built, and have seen other geeks recommend her work several times.. It's clear from reading her advice on here that she knows her stuff and is very helpful. Why not drop her a pm to get some ideas of what she can offer.

I use vista print because basically its cheap and easy and im in control of content which is REALLY good when i have a offer on. I may later to decide to pay for a proffesional one, but at this moement in time im happy with what iev got. And most of my new clients find me over the net.

my vista print website is great it does the job for now! Plus I got a months free trial to test it out! I've had it less than a month and i've already had over 500 visits!!!
As I build up my business I will probably get a custom made one as Ruth suggests but if you are looking for something quick and SIMPLE try it out!
