Water GLOBE

hey every one ! question...does anyone know how 2 make the water globes on the acrylic nails? Not the bubble....the one that looks like a mini snow globe that sits on top of the nail? ive been trying 2 find info on this for quite some time now. can someone PLZ share step by step, or link a site...picture tutorials...etc?

Hmmm, I seem to remember it was done with a "googly eye", like you can get in craft shops to put on cards and things....but I might have been dreaming this LOL x

The bubble nail is made with the googly eye. This is something different. Though I'm not really sure why you would want to know how to make this, it looks so weird to me, but I'd imagine the technique would be the same as the bubble nail, just find something more globe-shaped and do the same. I'd check a craft store.

That'S a very round shape compared to the googly eyes ! maybe you could make a mould with a marble pressed into fimo ?, then build it up from there ? good luck x

I made a couple of those "globes" with the help of my Solar Oil bottles pipette. You just cap the rubber part of the pipette in clear gel, cure, wipe tacky layer and remove from pipette. You'll probably have to file it "under" to get it even. I've never tried applying them to nails though.. HTH
