I have recently trained in Berins wax and love it.
However I have my very first customer tonight and she has asked for a lip & chin wax.
My training was excellent but we didn't cover lip, being a sensitive area im after some advice from my fellow geeks on how to appraoch this to ensure i do a profession as pain free as possible job.
Thanks
Charlie

ok try to think of it as any other area that you are used to waxing,
do your usual cleanse, apply the tiniest amount of oil to create your lipid barrier,
get your client to stretch the area by tucking her top lip down under her teeth if you know what i mean,
while you stretch from the above and to the side slightly with your finger,
apply non strip wax from the centre to past the corner of the lip,
let set up and remove in one quick action,
then apply your non strip wax from center to past the lip corner on the other side and same again,
use a small amount of wax to remove any tiny bits of wax you may have left over, although there shouldn't be any,
then you can use the post wax essential oil or the platinum soothing mask,
just apply a small amount to the top lip and this will calm the area down for your client, hth

Thats great - thank you xx
