feel really down just done a bikni and leg wax and it took me ages because the wax was too runny and then the hot wax wasn't hot enought and was sticking to the hair. I have a double baybliss heater but but can't get the constancy right. What number does everyone use for this waxpot?
I am doing mobile treatments but was thhinking of a roller system if anyone can recommend one that would be great? Thanks

Its all trial and error Sam you will master it soon enough,
my legs are in need of a wax so if you want to come to my salon you can use my clean & easy roller wax to do them and see how you get on with the system,
just let me know hun,

I have one of those Babyliss double heaters but I haven't used it for ages, but from memory, after I had heated the wax up I would turn it right down to one. My recommendation would be to get 2x 1000cc heaters or 1 x 1000cc for hot wax and a roller system for warm wax.

I use the babyliss double heater with perron rigot waxes. The non-strip wax usually sits at 2/3 & the strip wax sits at 3.

Different waxes need different temperatures though it's best to ignore the temperatures and look at the wax. Strip wax should have a creamy consistency not running off the spatula but not solid either. The non strip wax should be relatively thick still, solidish in the middle and like thick honey at the sides.

I use ellissons pink creme wax and have mine on 3 - 4 consistently. I have it on a timer that turns it on at 9am, i sart at 20. so it has an hour to melt before i start so no need to turn it up high to melt the wax quickly.

in al honesty, after having a full wax pot spill in the boot of my car, i wouldnt take a wax pot anywhere!!! lol.

roller waxing really cuts down your time!! I can blitz a full leg in less than 15 minutes on a good day!

Hi Louise, that would be great thanks x

Thanks for your advice, i really love waxing and last night got my really down. It took so long. I have a baybliss lavender wax i might try it witha a different wax. I am confident in waxing at college but the wax pots are set up already so you dont get to learn if its too runny to turn it down etc - sigh......

hi hun, i also now use clean & easy roller system and it cuts down on waxing time, product, and customer sensitivity. its thoroughly hygenic and easy to clean. I would take up the offer to give it a try, good luck hun x

i use exactly the same and for both my strip and non-strip i have them between 1 and 2 - as you say you just have to keep an eye on the wax.
