Hi there!
I'm currently training in waxing and have an assignment asking what the actions or precautions I would take with specific contraindications.

I've tried my best with research and can only find a few helpful ones :irked: - the rest just say I can't to do it or to restrict service but I need to specifically know why!

The things I need to know about are:
Dermatitis
Folliculitis
Hirustism
Hypertrichosis
Insect Bites
Lesions
Rashes
Skin Tumors (Benign & Malignant)

I need to know if I can perform waxing, and a short reason why/why not.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! :D

Hiya. These are not all contra-indications so it's difficult to help you. Have a read of your manual again. Being that you're in Australia they may have different rules from other countries.

TIP: People sometimes confuse a contra-indication (a reason to not wax) with a contra-action (a reaction from waxing).

Insect bits and rash you would work rounds, could also get rash after waxing so contra action
