I am soon to be doing a waxing course with Berins, which I am very excited about. I will be doing it mobile alongside the other treatments I offer.
But my question is, do you mobile waxers have a minimum spend, as going to wax a clients underarms for £7 is not really cost effective?

i wouldn't go anywhere for £7 unless it was in walking distance like 2 streets away from me maybe?

perhaps £15? but not if it's going to cost u a bit to get there.

I would definitely have a minimum spend and £15.00 sounds about the right amount to pitch it at.

Are you doing your course with Lori?

Thanks for that, £15 is exactly what I was thinking.
No Joe, im doing it with zoe-zo zo.

I agree that £7 is too small and £15, maybe even £20 is more like it.

If someone asks for just an underarm wax, explain that you have a minimum charge and ask them if there are any other services they would like?

I haven't looked at your pricing (for nails) but I am sure you can coax them into something extra... underarm wax and a mini manicure? Underarm wax and an eyebrow shape?

Focus on clients who are prepared to spend a reasonable amount, and clients that are interested in having more than one treatment... there are plenty out there.

BUT now just to contradict myself  there is a possible reason to do small inexpensive treatments... it gets you in front of the client and gives you the opportunity to impress them and cross-sell to them. So keep an open mind

You should have a minimum spend per visit, regardless of what they're having done. I would say £20 if it's within a 15 min drive from you.

If you had a personal trainer come to your house, you would expect it to be dearer, not cheaper. Know your worth! xxx

I stipulate a £25 minimum call out on my price list but judge case by case- if they live close or on my way to another client then I will go to them for less. It depends if it is going to be advantageous to me as if you do it once then you will be expected to be able to do it next time.
