What Is everyone's favourite for there lightest ashy blonde look?
My clients has ombré
7.3 O'loreal through the top with
bleached ends
She is naturally a base of a 7
Previously had a full head bleach under the 7.3 but id say it's grown out 4 inches or so!
She wants it back to how it looked when she was bleach blonde toned with 10/8 (all done by a previous hairdresser)
but with high lift instead of bleach
Any suggestions?
The 7.3 has really faded now more like a 8.3 with a inch of natural root x

I would gently lift it with bleach and 20 vol then tone. Explain high lift is just as damaging as bleach

Or just go in with the 12/0 40 vol see how she likes it. If she isn't happy or isn't light enough bleach it up.

My client base 7, used 12/89 12%. Lifted light but still touch yellow. Toned with 10/69 illumina on dry hair came out cool silver blonde. ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1395355884.661509.jpg

Picture attached myself from a while back. Base 6, 12/81 with /81, 12% Applied toner 10/69 /pastel (illumina )on dry hair for 20 mins came out this colour. X

I love using the 10/69 with a spot of 8/69 illumina xx

She did used to have majiblonde but always came up warm so had a few scattered bleach h/l through the top she hated the orange tones and it being multitonal so my friend her last hair dresser bleached her up global then if all broke off it was fab condition with the high lift she wants that look again but no bleach x

Yes I was thinking 12/89 then tone I'm just worried about the bleached parts was going to do bleach an pastel to lift the 7.3 out x

can you really tone over a high lift does it make alot of a difference. I get toneing things down just not adding more tome in would you just not add more special mix in to get what you wanted.

The model in the photo was prelightened and toned with colour touch relights 30g /89 + 10g /18 + 1.9%. Maybe that helps with the tone.x
