Hiya
Had some wella colour training today.
i decided to try the new quad technique dont know if youve seen it, its good, somethign a bit different but still easy to do in the salon... il post a pic on here when i get it.....

oooh can you tell us a bit more about it hun , ? sounds fab x

you take a big square across the centre of the head, adapt to fit the parting.....
take a 3 smaller squares coming off the big square as shown in the diagram.

mixtures can obviously vary but i used:
mix 1: 5/77+0/88+6%
Mix 2: 55/65+0/81+6%
mix 3: 7/47+0/66+6%

ut mix 1 in the big square
mix 2 in the 2 squares as shown on the diagram
mix 3 in square 3
use mix 1 on the rest of the hair.

Hi

The quad is a really nice effect isn't it?

Do you like the new color touch shades? I love them really rich and glossy, hope they bring out more!

hiya
yeah the quads is good, and its something u can actually use in the salon as it doesnt take too long does it? say someone came in with highlighted 12 line hair, what shades would you use to do the quads? if they just wanted blondes still?

I love Wella colour touch its so gentle and glossy , the Quad method sounds lovely ,
it sounds similar to their Wella babycakes method but they used the pale blondes
with that one.
Are you in a Wella College or a Wella salon ?
as it sounds like you have chosen a good training establishment and receiving excellent training , nice one thanks for sharing  x

hiya
my salon is a wella salon, as in it uses wella products and colours, which means as long as youre spending a certain amount on their colours you get them to come into the salon and do a days training, which i think is free, then you can go to their studios using the points you build up, or pay. ive got loadsa techniques if anyone wants me to ut them in a tutorial?

what blond shades would you use it with? imagine someone comes in with a 9 depth hair, she normally has all over colour of say just 9/0. so you could use 9/0 as number 1 mix, bleach number 2 mix and say 9/16 touch of 6/6? then youd get different tones thorughout wouldnt you? does this sound right? id be scared doing it on a client choosing my own colours

Wow a tutorial would be great ,
I always love to see other peoples work and ideas, as in this industry there is always something new to learn , thanks .
