The NORTH!
Now I have decided to work from home I'm currently using my living room.
It's nicely decorated and the days I work I have the bed or nail bar in the centre with candles music and promo and retail on my purpose bought units but I still feel unprofessional when I say to peopleI work from home.
How should I word it on my leaflets just a bit of help please thank you

My salon is at home, and I tell my clients that it is a private, boutique salon offering them the ultimate in privacy and discretion. With over 200 clients I've yet to find one of them who doesn't appreciate it!

Wow 200 clients that is fantastic. Do you have a room dedicated to beauty as I'm using my living room.

Twas a spare bedroom but now it's a salon. Take a look at my website for photos.
Not all of those 200 clients come every month!

I work from home and have a hair extension business, I use a bedroom which has been turned into a studio, clients come strictly by appointment. My studio has a sofa bed in there with a big silver furry throw on it and everything is easy to move if I have guests it turns into a bedroom very easily.

I have some pictures on my profile take a look

Yeah I love the funky sink aswell, is that a specially designed sink as it looks like it just sits on top of the unit as though you could just move it to one side lol

It's just a regular counter top sink - you can get them from everywhere these days: B & Q, Homebase, eBay...
Thanks for the compliments!

I agree, just one look at the pictures shows it is a salon so take some pics and show em off!! Good luck

wow lynne thats lovely ! I'm going to show the BF tomorrow !!!

I think they're all very nice but my issue is I dnt have a spare room so I'm using my living room do you think this comes accross like I'm playing salons

I think if you have some pics on your website with a brief description of how your business is set up it will be clear to clients before they book so there will be no surprises.

On all of my printing I have made it clear that I am home based so that there is no confusion! Before I did this I was often being asked to go to clients homes which is not what I offer, unless for tanning parties, it now saves a lot of time as everyone who contacts me knows that they are to come to me.

Set up your front room how you would have it to work from, take some lovely pics. Then underneath a few lines of where it is and the little extras that make clients want to come to you...

xx
