i was just playing around and thought i would try a colour gel to extend the nail rather than a coverage gel.this is my natural nail and i used nsi cover pink to build the nail but not so it completely covered my smile line then used peach colour gel and brush on white. it does look slightly "orangey" and streaky but it is only one thin coat and i think it has covered quite well.
if anyone has any suggestions on tweaking it then please feel free to give ideas.i just wanted to see what you pros think?
i know theres a few bumps etc.. in the nail but i am not finishing the nail as i was just trying it out, thanks :)

Its not a bad colour actually...it definitely covers and hides everything.

I don't agree. I think the colour is way too intense, does not match the skin tone of the client. I think this is a very unnatural colour. Very blue tone on a client with a yellow tone to the skin.

I would try to match the skin tone of the client myself. Good job with the actual nail though.

I agree, even though it does cover it's not a very good color, it looks a bit unatural, too pink i think...

thanks geeg i do agree that it doesnt match my skin tone and i dont personally like the colour,i just wanted to try it and see what sort of coverage it gave before i started trying tweak it.apart from the colour i was pleased with the overall coverage it gave so i will have to have a play and see what i can do with it.
if anyones got any suggestions on tweaking it then fire away and i will let you know how it goes.xx

It is difficult to suggest when I do not know what your colour choice is with NSI.

With CND there is a cool and a neutral and a warm choice in both Brisa gels and L&P. I you have something similar then I would go with a mixture of warm and neutral (half and half). The warm would be a bit too warm for you and the neutral not warm enough so the mix would be perfect (judging by the photograph colour which may not be true to life).
