What irked you today?

What irked me last night was I was finishing a L&P client which was one of the sets I need to pass my acrylic course with nail harmony, for the client to say oh I've only got £5 I can't pay full price I'll have to drop it in tomorrow.... Yeah I know you won't. She also made a comment while having her nails done about mums going to the pubs.... Oh so because I am a mum I am not allowed to go to the pub for a pub lunch... It's kid friendly for god sake! x

I'm irked cause I'm wide awake & in pain ..... Obviously too early to be painkiller free just let.
However too late to pop a pill now as I'd then oversleep for work tomorrow/today

I took my two children to the museum, was followed for the first ten minutes by an employee, literally stood behind us the whole way not in a helpful way it was more of a 'I'm watching you' way. I'm sure my two year old wasn't going to steal the wooly mammoth!!
I did point out that I was fully capable of finding my way around and wasn't in need of an escort.

Mine is the two non-working 365 days a year free yummy mummies "best" mates from my home-town, who couldn't possibly come and visit me in my new town (and haven't bothered for the last 11 years), BUT I clearly would love to spend my bank holiday travelling around the country to see both of them and their families and buying their various kids Easter gifts. AND I'm getting more and more irked by sad faces and pleading messages telling me how much little XXXX will miss their Auntie if I don't visit them when I'm "home".

My PA booked me in for a meeting and didn't specify where it was. I drove all the way to one office only to be told it was at the other one.
By the time I got to the meeting I had inflicted hideous pain upon her, and on all the other idiot Sunday afternoon drivers. In my head.
She was very apologetic and red faced when I got back to the office. I had calmed down by then so I resisted the temptation to shove the Lindt Easter Egg I had bought for her up her where the sun don't shine!

My best friend, it's been 11 years since she last came to see me.
Honestly - now I'm getting the you know if I could I would visit you and I don't like leaving the children (fair enough) BUT the oldest one is only 6 - what happened to the 5 years before kids where you couldn't be arsed, but it's ok for me to spend my non-work days (rare and precious things) racing about after you!!!! GRRRRRRRRR.
It's a shame as I'm so stubborn I won't go, which means I don't see my mum and dad either!

LOL! I know Lynne :/ Whenever I get all stroppy and willful about it (like now) she offers me a position of great importance, like being her bridesmaid or godmother so I don't leave. Selfish as the day is long... and I fall for it every time.

And now I'm learning hairdressing it's even better, because I can just go up and see her and she can model for me!! WIN WIN (not sarcastic at all!)

Don't cut your nose off to spite your face, go and see your mom and dad, but not her!! If she sends you a message having found out your about accidentally on purpose, your too busy seeing your family and afraid she is just going to have to wait until next time you possibly have a spare day off, unless she fancies a trip your way that is.

Me and my friend almost fell out over her having to pay me over 50% less than what she would pay in a salon, and even said during one of her 'I think I pay too much' moments well you come here and use my water and electric, so I offered to pay her mom the 30p we would be using however in that case I will add on top my £10 petrol.she dropped that idea. She still continued to feel I was too expensive so I told her to go to someone else, 50 quid every 8 weeks was not worth falling out over so I told her if she could find somewhere to do full head foils x2 colours and and all through colour on hair past your bra strap (very thick hair too) for cheaper and just as good or better then be my guest, she never did but we're still friends. It's now been about 3 years and she keeps saying she needs to get it back into good condition and nice again like when I did it (as a hint for me to offer) and she says about home dyes that she hates but just has to use now (I think as she knows how much I hate box dyes) but I don't fall for it, ever.

People wanting everything for nothing, that's what irks me, and they think you should be at they beck and call when're they need I.e. 730 on a Sunday morning and tut when you say no as you already work 56 hours a week over 6 days... How fair I want a day of rest lol.

"Could I pop to Boots and buy a hair dye, as I have red dyed hair" which might not be to there liking... Then I was asked if I could wear gloves???? To cover the tattoo on my hand!!
Then to top it off.. The same day both my showers had broken I found this out while I had hair dye on, my son then put a pea up his nose and I had to take him to hospital so never made the interview., and it gets even better, my friend asks me if I can do her nails today, so I said yes as it was her, but I only had time to do Gelish and not a full set of acrylic. She then I forms me as she is going out drinking later on... Thanks for my invite, then last night at about 10 texts me and asks if her friend can have her nails doing as well.
I will be hiding under a rock to make sure nothing else can go wrong this week x
