I rebalanced my l&p today and wanted to do something simple. I've been wearing glitter a lot so I felt the need to just do something chic.

It's a tad messy around the eponychium because I had a 4 year old on my lap bumping me every few seconds wanting me to help him play a game on our ipad. lol.

It's 'All About Me' by Gelish.

Now that i'm looking at it, it needs another coat as well! It's transparent in spots.. Arg. I hate that.

Wow wow wow! These are gorgeous. How do you do them?

Shellac!

1X Tinsel Toast, Cure
1X Tinsel Toast, Cure
1X Black Pool (thin), let set on the nail for a bit so it thickens then add another coat. Let it set on the nail for a bit again.
With a dry gel brush, wipe through the Black Pool to create the "swipe" pattern, Cure
Top Coat

Are these 'carved'? X

Swiped actually. :green:

2X Tinsel Toast
1X Black Pool (thin), let set on the nail a bit to thicken then another thin coat and let set a bit.
Swipe through the nail with a gel brush to create the "swipe," Cure
Top coat.

So easy but such a gorgeous affect, right?

How do you get the glitter to show sooo shiny and blindly?! My photos never do justice to glitter! X

So maybe a dim question Tammie but is it ok then to apply 2 coats without curing each one first? So for example, could it be possible to do a carving in this way when you want the colour to be a combo colour? Like Blackpool and iced coral just as an example?

Just done these for Christmas. ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1356010633.692489.jpg

could everyone stop posting such gorgeous Christmas nails please. I have already done mine this week and it is making me jealous. I want to change them but I've never managed to last more than a week between designs. Shellac & Gelish are so wasted on me and my fickle mind :green:

Rudolph!!
