ImageUploadedBySalonGeek1376496299.508227.jpg I accidentally nicked my clients finger. I created these after a one to one training session with kirsty meakin this morning. Nsi l&p French enhancements xxxImageUploadedBySalonGeek1376496393.733059.jpg

I used Shellac but same could be done for all systems. I used cream puff x2 then applied the additives in a diagonal across the nails blending them together. I then decanted some top coat and used it to do dots with a large dotting tool, you could do any design. Then cure and wipe whole nail, it'll remove all of the additives that haven't been top coated but leaves the design then top coat the whole nail again. I've been asked to do a photo tutorial or video so watch this space. Will get one done this week hopefully xx
Hope you don't mind - I had to try this - they are fab x

My new nails done in a rush. Need to tidy the edges and I may add glitter to the rest. Then again I might not. Decisions decisions. ...

A few sets of Gelish I've done this week :) xx

I know Shellac and foils are a bit 2012 ;) but I love this look still. Have lost my nail mojo lately but so pleased with my new clients nails I feel the buzz in my belly again. Anyway enough waffle, this is overtly Onyx Shellac with silver holo foil over brisa lite smoothing gel.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing your additive method. I posted my Polka Dot fingers last night, but since you mentioned your client's age, and since I am 65, I could not resist posting my toes too! LOL

Lovely!!!! Have you extended the nail bed with cover pink? On the blue nail are they gems or pearls? I really want something like that xx

Yes I used a cover pink to extend the nail bed then white. The odd fingers are done with pearls & crystals xx

I always wear my nails square or squoval so thought i'd try something different. Did mean to do almond shape but somehow they came out stiletto lol inspired by DivineByDesign's youtube tutorial, not nearly as good as hers though! xx
