Hi,
Kate here : )
to paint you a picture, i first trained in nails in 2000,when i did my beauty therapy training,i then did private courses in l&p,and gels, nail art etc,I worked as a nail tech full time, using various different brands, and all was well,I stopped working as a nail tech after around 18 months or so,as i was bored with just doing nails,so i went back to doing hair and beauty(im also a hairdresser, specialising in hair extensions) hair extensions have really taken over my business in a major way! : ) Im just going into partnership with a friend who has an aesthetic clinic, and were about to open a spa,so Ive done lots of private training courses over the past year,in all the specialist treatments I want to offer,I only way the best in the spa,so Ive selected which brands I think are the best, and gone with them,I did a CND l&P conversion course november time last year, which was fab,i was really excited to be offering CND,and couldnt wait to get all the shellac, minx etc in,so much so that i gave away all my nail kit,to but CND,I went right back to scratch,re educating myself the CND way,as i really love the company, and what they stand for.Ive been so busy with my business, that i hadnt had time to practice with my L&P kit,but had given myself until now to crack on with it,and for the last 2 weeks ive had the kit out,and i just cannot get to grips with the ratio! theres bubbles everywhere! millions of them, ive gone over every reason this could be,and have done all the tutrials available, ive watched the spotlight videos, ive watched fingernail fixers vidoes,i thought my product maybe out of date,so bought new,ive tried all avenues.I even went to my local beauty wholesalers and bought a cheap try me kit,in another brand, just to make sure id not forgotten what im doing, and that was fine straight away.I really, really want to offer CND, we have a really high standard client base between us,and only want to offer the best,im now thinking of booking a one to one with sweet squared,i think i just need someone to sit with me,and watch where im going worng, because its driving me mad! does anyone think this would be the best thing to do? sorry its so long.

Hi hun not that I have much experience being a newbie and all but I would of thought a one to one would be a good way to go jus to get those little bits sorted maybe you just had a bad batch of cnd product who knows but you always learn something new in this industry. Good luck with your business by the way :) x

Absolutely yes!!!!! A one to one, can help you to iron out any problems you have, nip them in the bud so to speak, before you drive yourself mad.
CND Educators can spot problems in applications in a heart beat. Videos are great as a follow up on what you have learned, keeping things fresh in your mind. But nothing beats the personal one to one touch, where you can actually speak to someone, pick their brains and walk away feeling that you can now do it !!!! Best feeling ever xxx

Don't quote me on this but i think 121's are charged on an hourly rate.. so you would discuss with your EA the kind of things you wanted to cover in your 121 so you could assess how long to go for. Best thing to do would be to call or email S2 and they could advise :) x

Could the bubbles be due to working too wet? Am sure a 1-2-1 will sort you out in no time hun good luck xx

Thanks to everyone who has applied, on the s2 website, the one to ones are only £45 per hour! was really suprised and pleased with the price! ( not sure if im allowed to put prices on here!?) i apolagise if not.
