With my training courses i was given products from salon serve, they dint turn out to be very good.

So was wondering what product is the best to use?
im quite keen on michelle porter but i thinks its abit pricey just to practice with.

so what do you guys think??
;)

there are a few top ones that have a good reputation that you could look into, I use Young Nails, but CND and NSI are used regularily and hace great things said about them also, maybe buying a sample set of them to see how you get on, they all run conversion courses that will show you how to use the product and get the best from it with ratios etc, good luck hope you find one that works for you! xx ruth

NSI for me. I made the mistake of using cheaper priced and lesser quality products and still have loads of it left, it is much easier to produce good quality nails using quality products and why make your life harder when training using inferior products that are harder to work with and do not produce the same end results. I would buy some sampler kits from as many good quality brands as you can, practice & practice & you'll get a feel for which brand you prefer to work with. Dont make the mistake of buying cheap brushes, you cannot produce quality work with them IMO - made that mistake too. NSI precision #8 brush for acrylics is fab by the way. x

CND for me everytime for acyrlic, I trained with it 10 years ago and never felt I had to try anything else. I once tried some cheaper tips and they were rubbish, so went back to CND.

michelle porter is one of the lower priced ranges.

you need to practice with the product you intend to use. if you practice with another brand then that will be the one you get better with . when you move on to another product it will behave differently as they all vary in their chemistry and you'll be taking a big step backwards.

its important to realise from the start that being a quality nail technician is not going to be cheap, but what you do pay out will be an investment into your future.
