i'm vtct level 2 mani/pedi trained and i want to use creative products because they are really lovely.
but which course should i do to use their products?...
do i go for the nails naturally courses(more expensive & mani/pedi seperate courses) or creativespa (mani & pedi in 1 course)?
is creativespa for creative techs that have done foundation courses or could i do it being vtct trained?
or do i save like mad and do both courses (probably take til xmas! LOL!)
sorry for all the questions
thanks

Give sweet squared a call on 0845 210 60 60...they will help.

If you are vtct trained, you could do just the conversion one day, which is what i did....you learn about the produts, how they perform, enamel application....in all a very good day.:)

Creative spa manicure and spa pedicure is lovely....but my favourite is raw earth for pedicures...you do not need another day for this, and can purchase them from any authorised CND distributor in the Uk....give sweet squared a call, they are very helpful:hug:

thanks for your reply
i thought you had to do conversions to use the different products, didn't realise i could get the raw earth kit without being trained.
i was thinking about using raw earth and the solar manicure for my everyday manis/pedis and doing the spa conversion so i can use that for luxury treatments.
i'll give them a ring in the morning
thanks again

raw earth and solar manicures are still luxurious....and do not undercut your pricing to reflect this....i do not know how your area is,fortunately i am in an area wher i can command above average pricing.

For the conversion you get a spa kit which gives you more than enough treatments to do both treatments.....you pay for the products and the training day is free of charge....a bargain in my eyes!:)

i was a bit shocked when i seen the prices but when i read how many products you get in the kits and worked it out, i'll make my money back and a bit extra!
what do you use for basic manis/pedis and what do you use for luxury? i'm new to the industry, i passed my course in january, so i'm still learning about different products, but i've decided creative are the best chouice for me.

Firstly well done for choosing CND...if you are passionate,so are CND aswell:green:

I use just the Spa range for manicures at present, but spa and raw earth for pedicures.I charge 35 for the spa pedicure and 32 for raw earth.

For spa manicure i charge 25....this may seem a lot,but it really is not....when you think about the products, the end result, the sensorial experience....when clients have had one....they then become hooked:)

I offer just a file and polish if a client needs it,but i do reiterate the importance of regular manicures and pedicures.....doing an evening demonstrating the treatments, and having a captive audience can be an education in itself, and letting the clients "feel" the products, and filling the salon with aromas,is wonderful....ooooh i am there now...LOL

Having said thet, some clients just want painted nails....bu if some clients have rough cuticles, severely dehydrated, and aged hands,a file and paint is not going to "cut the cake" so to speak!

thanks for your advice, i'm going to ring sweetsquared tomorrow and see if i can get on the spa conversion soon, i think i'll start with that and then when my pennies save up add the solar and raw earth to my menu for a wider choice.
i've got some salonsystem stuff left over from college so i could use that for basic treatments to start with x
