Ok so i've looked at Lily Lolo make up and T thought it was really cute but didn't like the foundations as when I tried them they looked chalky on the skin and i found the concealers did not cover as well as they should with them being a powder also and lastly they dont do a mascara.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Im looking for a brand that is not to expensive to retail as this is one of the main reasons I've chosen to buy make up in and I do alot of wedding make ups so the foundations have to be long lasting as well

artdeco makeup is amazing if you go for the days training they will show you everything and you get to go into the storeroom its like a sweet shop. they will send a rep out for you if you call them with everything they have.

Hi there nixnewcastle, Does the skin care products you use have a make-up line?
I have done an endless search for the perfect make-up line for my professional use and for a retail product to sell to my clients, And after spending enormous amounts of money and alot of trial and error I have found it all goes back to your skin care.
It also makes it alot easier for me to recommend make-up to my facial clients because they are using the skin care products and know they are a good product.
I hope this helps a little and I'm not sure if I'm aloud to mention what products I use, but if you would like to know PM me and I will be more than happy to help.
:)

Hiya, I'd say get as many companys as possible to come out and show you their range, as then you get to have a play with the make-up.

I personally use Krush Minerals. I love them. They have mascara's and both the liquid foundation and loose powder are great for concealing and are not chalky in anyway.

I love the colour crystals (eyeshadows) they have 40 different colours to chose from and they are all 100% pigment, so they are really bright.:)

Hope you find what your looking for x

How were you applying the foundation - if you dont use the right tools any mineral makeup will look chalky. Again there is ways that you can apply the concealer to get better cover as you can the foundations too.

Lily Lolo works as well as any other good quality mineral makeup brand (even the more expensive ones) - and I have tried many different brands.

It is all down to how you apply them.

p.s. - forgot to add - I agree about the mascara but they are looking at introducing this soon, as they have now introduced eye liners and lip glosses.

I do a lot of bridal work and love my Barbara Bort makeup. Huge range of hypoallergenic colours and no minimum order! The profit margins on retail are great too with usually next day delivery. I am really fussy about my foundations and they are brilliant. My clients are hooked!

Hi
I agree with Devondolly Barbara Bort is FAB! I too am fussy about foundation & have spent years trying to track down that perfect one! For me on a personal level their oil free hydrating is brill. the range of colours are good and quality exceptional.

Im so pleased a few people have recommended Barbara Bort as this is the main brand I liked so think im going to go with that one. Do you get a sales rep and how do you contact them? I tried emailing with the email address on the website but it doesn't work
