Have you ever had one of those clients that you just cannot keep happy?

Geez!

I tried really, really hard but she was impossible to please.

Made me really fed up...

Anyone got any 'horrid' client experiences to cheer me up? Maybe make me laugh...

Thx, Brend.

I get rid of any horrid clients id sooner be poor than sit opposite any sour faced whinging old trouts for hours.... obviously thats why i am poor.. im happy though :)

I have a spray tan client who is never dark enough even with 18% solution!! she wants me to spray her 3 times!!! madness!! I told her that it will cost 3 times as much now- before i charged her extra as she insisted on a second coating but 3 times is just ridiculous, so i told her no and she has cancelled her next tan - prob sulking but she will be back! who in their right mind would want spraying 3 times with 18% dha, its not as if her skin is dark naturally! she insisted on the highest level which i advised against in the first place!!! i guess i know nothing lol. i only trained in spray tanning and do about 20 a week. haha.

I have had a word with a therapist friend and when we have annoying clients we pass them on to each other that way we know if a)its just us and b)we are able to say no to a new client rather than a regular.

some clients are never happy she is the only one who is a pain but I think every time she calls (or texts!!) now im busy. oops! :)

and i also would rather be poor than take on clients that are full of evilness. :)

not nails related but...

i once had a client in who had a note of her colour from her previous salon. i looked them, and what her hair looked like now, and was suspicious. she said her colour had faded a lot since she had it done last, so i got the chart out and showed her the colours and she was adamant, this is defo what it should be, what was written on this piece of paper she had from her previous stylist. it even had the measures on it of how much i should use of ech colour and what developer to use. so after reconfirming with her what the colour was on the chart, and how it would look, she agreed thats what it definitely was. then, once it was rinsed and dried, she confessed to me it wasn't anything like what she usually has, the piece of paper wasn't from her last hairdresser, it was 12 years old!!!!!! and that the salon she had been going to previous to me had "perhaps" changed the colour since!!! argh!!!! i felt like i did all i could to confirm with her, and she had deliberately lied to me!!!! i offered to re colour it but she said she would go back to where she was going before, and wasn't happy with me...felt awful about it for about a week but i think i did all i could!!!

i laugh about it now...

I am really not sure this is the sort of thread we want here. If you want to moan and complain about your clients then doing it on the WWW where all can read is maybe not the best place to do it.

Without these clients we would have no business.

If you do want a rant then the blogs are a better place to do it (within reason) as they are not viewable by the general public, but only by registered members.
