Would you use un-pedicured feet to advertise products?????

Tonight I was browsing on a well-known clothes store website for pyjamas. I clicked onto a close up photo of the hem detail of some pj bottoms and I couldn't believe the state of the feet in the photo

I was shocked to see the state of the feet, surely the model used should have had a pedicure if a close up of her feet was being used?
