for manicure and pedicure the boss prefers the opi brand ( i have many discussions with her about this as its not my first choice :irked:) any way we are told to use a spray then a liquid - this is to help "dry" the varnish/laquer faster - sorry, cant remember the names of them................but i reckon they dont work,as they leave a sticky, awful feel to the finished nails, and can sometimes make them worse.

any opi users oponion on this would be good

thanks

drip dry and rapid dry spray I guess?

I only use one at a time and then i have no sticky residue.

never tried using both tho.

which top coat do you use? the sticky residue may come from that.

if you can just tell me what exactly you use, as there is a specific way of using them...

why would you need to use both? I've used several diff companies sprays n dry drops and have never heard of using two at same time.
Do you have to leave any time before you spray or use drops? we wait a few mins before spraying solar speed spray and was the same with LD miracle drops, and ciate drops. the only one I ever did straight away was orly spritz dry.
Surely using 2 just is putting lots of chemicals onto the polish?

They do recommend using the RadiDry and then Drip Dry but personally I just wait 60 secs after applying their top coat and then I apply a coat of Avoplex oil over the entire nail and this dries it incredibly fast and there is definitely never any stickiness.

I have never used both together either. I use the spray more often than drip dry.

I have just one client that won't have the drip dry or oil as she feels that her polish doesn't dry quickly and her fingers are slippy which I can emphasis with as I hate having oil dripped on my nails after they have been polished. each to there own I guess !

I will say though since I changed to OPI last year I have not had one complaint about polish not drying and all my clients rave about the brand yet I was forever having problems with the range I had before and when I changed clients told me how they much prefered OPI.

I use OPI and I have only ever used the spray. Why would you use both? What would the advantage to that be? Just asking.
Anyway, I have never had any problems with the spray.
All that being said, when I am done with school and go to work, I think I will most likely go with CND.

just to clarify - I ONLY USE THIS PRODUCT IF im doing a manicure, it was the boss that told me to use both, i couldnt see the point to it, so thats why ive posted about it on here. i actually only use one or the other
