whats a good cleanser and toner for oily skin that is going to last as ome are expensive and last two mins? also a good ake cleanser and toners to use self employed to use for clients facials?

Is the oily skin a problem skin. or just oily?

I actually did a lot of research on this (originally for selfish reasons because i have oily forehead.....) when i worked with an organic lab to formulate my private label skin care line

what works best for cleansers are gel based.

I have foud that toners can actually make oil sebum production worse! so never apply toner to oily area... instead use a gel based moisturizer.

my current skincare line up carries both, but we are in the US... and do not know of a skincare line in the UK which offers them.

best advise is to stick with a gel based cleanser and mositurizer in the oily areas. Cleanse skin 2-3 times daily and always always always make sure your skin a moisturizer applied... this will keep the sebum production in check.... never use toners (which a majority of dermatologists will advise).

Decleor make a fantastic cleansing gel & matifying lotion, which will remove excess oil & leave the skin clear & matte. The alcohol free matifying lotion won't strip your skin, but will leave it fresh & shine-free for hours after application. The reason a lot of dermatologists say avoid toners is due to alcohol & excessive astringents, this isn't true of the Decleor matifying lotion.

Although a little more expensive than cheap high-street products, the Decleor cleanser & toner will not just last for ages, but more importantly will deliver results.

i personally love the dermologica clay cleanser, its about £30 and ive had mine for months. you dont need alot and to be honest i only use mine 2 or 3 times a week or when my skin is very oily. you can leave the cleanser on the skin and use it as a masque if it is really oily.

I second that! The menthol in it has a great way of making oily skin feel clean too. And it is great that you can use it as a mask aswell!
It helped to clear up my acne. Multi active toner is fab as you dont need to wipe it off and great for spritzing on in the summer!! xxx

Decleor is fantastic for oily skin they have a wonderful range as already mentioned

Have fun with your Decleor training; I was there yesterday (Monday) training in the new Perfect Slim-Effect treatment!

Guniot do a fantastic cleanser and toner due to oily skin called microbiotic lotion (the toner) and moose (cleanser) it nutralizes shine and tightens the pores and balances sebacous secretions and has anti-bacterial effects on the skin. They also do a life saving product called acne logic which is applied to oily/acne prone areas and it also works to do as the cleanser and toner do but also helps to get rid of blemishes and blackheads
