Hello All, I have made the decision to set up as a mobile spray tanner. I have done my research and decided on Tantrick. I feel very excited and a little nervous about the tanning :)
The more people i speak to are asking why i dont want to offer different things nails ect
I would love to but money time ect are not limitless i would like to offer more services eventually but i have now got myself thinking is the spray tanning enough?? I want to offer a proffesional service and be excellant at what i do. Not ok at lots of things trying to rush. Does anyone else specialise in spray tanning is it enough?

Thanks in advance x x

I do:D I am qualified in nails too but I HATE doing them so all I do now is tanning, I love it, and I love perfecting every tan that I do:D

I do tans and lashes (semi-permanent), I am not planning to add any other treatments to my list for just now as I am busy enough with both of these. I really like the idea of specialising in treatments, rather than having a huge list and tanning is so quick and easy once you get used to it.
I added the lashes as I only really worked wed/thurs/fri for the tans because people wanted them for the weekend, so the lashes would give me something to do at the start of the week. I am sure others are very busy all week long, but this is how my business was going. I don't advertise, and only really get business from word of mouth or my website so would possibly be busier earlier in the week if I advertised more.

Good luck xxxx

I only offer spray tanning but am asked all the time by new clients if I offer any other treatments.

Perhaps you could start with spray tanning and once you're 100% skilled and confident, you could then think about adding another service or two?

You've asked whether offering spray tanning on its own is enough, but it depends on what is enough for you. I only operate part-time and in the summer months and at Christmas it's more than enough for me, it's just that if I had my way the business would spread itself out over the year a bit more evenly!

xx

I saq on facebook someone advertising doing spray tans but also selling bikinis and flip flops ( dont know where they got their stock etc).Could be a good earner for the summer if you looked into it! xx

Thankyou for your comments, i have looked into the Flirties lashes, i am still unsure about this as i dont know if they will pay for themselves, with them been an expensive treatment to have?? Jenx would you mind me asking what type of lashes you use and approx what you charge?

Hi hun, I trained with Glam Lash, they have training all over the country now.
I charge £65 for a full set of lashes (60-80 lashes per eye), these take me just over 2hrs to do.
Although I'm hoping to add a glamour set of about 100lpe, not sure what I will charge yet for that though. I also do a demi-set of 30-40 lpe for £35.
Hope that helps xxx
