When looking for a nail course some trainers offer a course in acrylic nails then a conversion to acygel nails, and some offer just the acygel nail training.

Is it best to do both acrylic and gel training or just Gel trainng

Please help thank you:eek:

Both systems are acrylic....Gel is acrylic and so is L&P (liquid and powder) its just that some people call L&P acrylic like gel is something else....

I would say do both l&p and gel that way you have more to offer your clients :)

Am I wrong in thinking that acrygel is a different kind of application of L&P then...I thought it was a kind of tip and dip application??

Is it a UV Acrylic? a two component system which is set under a lamp .

I think it is a gel that you add a acrylic powder too and then set under a uv lamp.

You scoop gel onto a brush them dip into a powder, Its almost like a monomer, polomer mix except gela nd powder, it a uv set gel, very strong but i found I couldnt master it as it kept lifting.
