Advice for tanning brides

Hi Ladies

I wonder if you could advise me on tanning brides.

I had a bride to be call me at the weekend to arrange a tan for her wedding this Saturday. Feel a bit nervous about the whole things as we haven't got time to give her a trial, what day would you advise would be the best evening to tan her? I have got her booked in for Thursday at the moment?

I have also had another enquiry from a bride getting married on 19 September, would you advise that I give her trial this week, I was just a bit worried about how it will fade in time to give her her tan for the wedding.

Sorry for the long post but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I always book them in 2 days before the wedding just in case! So thursday will be fine. Gives you time to rectify a problem if anything should go wrong!

As far as trials go i don't do them for the tans unless they ask.

I agree - 2 days is sufficient - if you were doing a trial then a week to 8 days before should be fine as they would have exfoliated on the 4th day of the tan and thereafter so the tan should be nearly gone. Spraying over tiny little bits left won't cause a problem. Hope it all goes well i'm sure you'll be fine

Ahh dont worry youll be fine. When I have to tan brides they are usually
excited and rushed so just keep them calm and make sure they are dry before they get dressed. Ive spray day before and two days before but with bride clients I always say if your not happy with the tan in anyway ring me asap and Ill sort it out.

Thanks for all your advice, I don't feel so worried about it now. I don't ev er have any complaints from any of my clients. I think I am just worrying because it is such a special day for them.
