Thanks guys, maybe I wasnt clear enough in my post. The sparkles gels are slightly different to the coloured gel from what I understand ... basically a sparkling glitter like gel. I can just about see the colours on the NPB site (around halfway down the page) theres clear, silver, bronze, raspberry, deep sea blue and a few others.

I did say I have the Silver glitter one it is a greyish/see-through gel with silver glitter in but I must say that Calgel Iced is far better!!

for the price it is worth you ordering one of the glitter gels just to see, thats what I did and I know I will use them up slowly.

Ah ive just found one showing raspberry sparkles and clear sparkles Just Nailz

what a lovely pic...nice colour x

Gorgeous isnt it. I'll try the sparkles clear first. x

Hi There! Those raspberry sparkles are my nails! lol. My mom Debrakh Jacklin is the owner of Justnailz. Just to let you know, with the sparkles you can eiter use them like a gel polish, top gloss or you can scuplt with them! I (as you see in the pic) have raspberry and my mom has the pink sparkles on right now. They are so cute and sooo strong. Maybe if we get a chance tommorrow at the store we'll snap a pic of her nails and post them at our site!
Also I noticed someone had a question about what the difference is with sparkles and gel polishes. As I mentioned, Sparkles can be used for sculpting and gel polishes (31 colors) are a paint on only. You can do them in 2 coats if needed (cure 2 min in between). They are highly pigmented and not watery at all!
Hope that helps!
Amanda

How are you finding the new colours? Do they take 3 coats to get good coverage?

All depending on what color you have. Some are lighter and more transparent and some are super highly pigmented. It completely depends on the colour and whether or not they are mats, frosts, or pearls. The newest shades are lighter spring colours (irish kiss, breeze, sienna sunrise, etc.) for the most part where as the older colors (mulberry, simply pink, rewood, etc.) are deeper in color-definatley no more than 2 coats. Ask your distributor for the new color chart. It has ALL options gel polishes (31 colours), sparkles, and gel arts and it also tells you which gel polishes are frosts etc...

Didn't get chance to snap that pic of the pink sparkles but here is a link to our website with a quick tutorial on sculpting with sparkles. Just Nailz & Esthetic Supplies - Professional Training & Wholesale Distribution Centre
Hopefully that link worked!

I must get round to trying these again - I definitely needed 3 coats of these when I first bought them (I had the first two colour sets)...that & like most other people I know that tried them, I suffered bad free edge seperation.

I know I've been spoilt as a Bio user (apart from price!)....but it does sound as though there's been some big improvements. I always loved the colours.....so did my clients, they just all asked to go back to Bio as they'd never had lifting or seperation before!

I hope they work for me this time - I'm loving Akzentz file-off gels and I've always loved Nailsplusbeauty...especially Karen! Wish I could give her much more business!

And I had the pleasure of an hour playing with gels with your Mum, Deb, when I was last in Calgary. Please remember me to her, if she remembers me!

ive just ordered the raspberry and some warm coverage so can not wait to try them.

Now, some of the formula's have changed. The originals are still fabulous and there's nothing wrong with them, just the new formula is even better. A bit thicker too. The new base n gloss has changed slightly also, it grabs to natural nails sooo well and it stops gels from shrinking. Anyone problems lifters I use base n gloss!
I mentioned this in another thread but if your having seperation at the free edge it can either be uncured product or dry natural nails. When the natural nail underneath is very dry it will ten to seperate so use cuticle oil underneath the free edge. You'd be surprised how well that works! Good retail item for you clients too. If that's not the case, wrap your top gloss.
I will definatley say hi to my mom for you!
