Hi all,

I'm pregnant and have broken out
In red spots all over my back!!!!
Any tips on how to get rid of it? Xx

I would highly recommend getting an appointment with your GP. Without us seeing it, it would be hard to diagnose and I'm sure not many would want to speculate. Probably nothing to worry about but GP best I would have thought.

If your pregnant the GP can't do much as GP usually give two things for spots tablet or cream! Both of which you can't use when pregnant!
What do you use on these areas? Sower gel? Body lotion? Change of washing detergent? Fabric softener? Not just on your clothes but your bedding?

Hiya I'm currently 38 weeks pregnant and since the start my skin has been really dry and I've had random spot break outs especially at the 3 month mark from what I've read it's down to the hormones changing and not much can be done about it (google search info) but personally I've found a good moisturiser ha helped massively I also take pregnacare supplements and found they helped a bit too just my personal opinion I'd also say ask your midwife and doc for a professional opinion best of luck in your pregnancy x

Actually GP's can prescibe medications as long as they have been deemed suitable during pregnancy. I was prescribed Betnovate for my spotty, itchy legs during pregnancy with no ill effects. The best thing is to take your GP's advice and are you first port of call.

Thanks girls, when getting my waxing done yesterday my therapist had a look and she said it doesn't look like any acne she's ever seen so thinks it's a reaction to something rather than hormonal spots but will speak to midwife anyway and check washing powders. Which body wash do u think would be ok? I usually just use dove soap. Xxx
