Hi all,

Looking for lemon curd & marmalade suitable for a diabetic, my grandad used to love them, and I'd like to get him some only trouble is I can only seem to find it online and wont know if its any good lol So just wondered if any geeks had tried any and could recommend?
Thanks xx

Have you tried Holland and Barratt health shop hun? I used to get sugar free and diabetic specialist stuff for my late father in law from them.

had a wee look online nothing in the shop, but I'll go into town and see if they have anything there thanks xx

I have to say, we never bother, Paul's first diabetic nurse told us not to because they tend to compensate with other ingredients that are just as bad as the sugar.
It's not that difficult to make lemon curd and marmalade and you can reduce how much sugar you put in yourself. Its the same with cakes, I tend to use half the sugar that the ingredients say to. Paul has yet to notice:lol:

I'm not sure about lemon curd, but my late father was diabetic and loved St Dalfour all natural and no sugar added jams and marmalades. You'll find them at most major supermarkets.

HTHs
