i had a regular client who ask to borrow a enamel once, she was going on holiday for 3 weeks and just in case she chipped her nails she would then just touch it up. i said yes and to bring it back when she returned for her next appointment. she came back alright without the bottle of enamel, when i asked for it she replied there was not much left anyway so she gave it to her daughter. i was fuming, i so put the price of a bottle of enamel onto her bill at the end of her nail service, she didn't even query it and now i do not let any clients borrow enamels, if they want one they have to purchase one. simple as that. tell your client that you don't 'lend' enamels out, but can be purchased, if the enamel has been used, charge her less for it. she will soon realized and won't ask again.
some people take the mick, give them an inch and they will take the mile!!!!!!
