Hi im going to college to do a Nail Technician course in January. Just wondering what is your best advice for a complete novice?

I personally, would wait and see what the tutor says.

We could all offer suggestions but every course differs, I wish you the best of luck and really hope you enjoy it

The best advice I can give you at this time is do NOT go out and buy everything under the sun for nails. Trust me on this one. You'll end up with a lot of crap that you really don't need and the $$$ could have been better spent on stuff you will NEED.

Very good advice here!! I bought everything that caught my eye and still have nearly all of it as I never use it. Use your money on things you use more frequently like files, nail wipes etc x

Thanks that really is useful advice - i am a bit of a compulsive shopper sometimes so no excuse now i know i dont need loads of stuff lol x
