I everyone. I had a black lady in for a pedicure. On inspection all of nails were black. I asked numerous questions, she explainec that she has always had this. She said that it wasn't sore didn't brake off or anything. Could this be for always wearing shoes or because she lived in Nigera till 5 years ago.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Could just be her genetic makeup. If her nails do not look weird or damaged in any way it is probably that this is just normal for her and not a problem.

If you suspect that there is something wrong then refer her to a Chiropodist to get the all clear.

i have noticed that on a couple of my black clients they have dark pimentation in some areas of their nails. it appears to be just a genetic thing and perfectly normal for darker skinned clients. ive never seen all black nails before though.
