Hey all

I have read all the threads on Body shop at home. But I just wanted to know more about what people think. I have just become a consultant and am set to do my training next monday.

What are your honest opinons?
Would you have one?
Would you become a consultant?

Thanks geeks,

Becki xxx

hi,
im a consultant, i joined mid january. i love doing the parties and the confidence boost is amazing. The money isnt bad either. at my last party i had sales of £284 and after all my charges i came away with £62.50 which is ok in my opinion for a couple hours work.
The only thing i am having problem with is getting people to book more parties, you have to get 6 parties to start, i have done 8 and now dont have another until end of march. after that there are a couple of months where i have no parties at all!
I find quite a few people that do want to have them are booking ages away, i had one lady book in october, apparantley she always has a party at the same time every year as she finds she does well out of it then.
As long as you can find lots of people who want to party then tbsah is great, you get loads for doing it not just the money you can win products by hitting sales targets and all sorts. They have a diamonds promo on at min where consultants can win various items of diamond jewlery and there is a trip to monte carlo up for grabs too.

I used to be a consultant and loved it and did three to four parties a week.

Earned loads but had a tendancy to spend!!

Just a tip - hold your first party at home with your friends and family, it eases you into it and you can sort out your spiel without feeling like a plank.

My first party took £300

try making your own leaflets hun and ordering the posters. Put them anywhere and everywhere. People will ring you out of the blue. Also when you get a few months down the line, ring previous party holders and ask if they want another. Also buy the cheap items, eye make up remover, etc and offer people a free gift to host a party.

I too used to be a consultant before i had the twins and loved it.

This time of year you could get away with doing school easter parties, lots of orders and booking to be had :green:
