HI this is my first post here :),
ive got an client who trapped her hands in a car door (ouch) and all her nails are bruised near the cuticle line, she came in the other day and told me 1 has burst amd started lifting where the bruising is. anyways she currently has a full set of acryilc on it i diddnt wanna touch it incase i caused more damage so i just took the length right down. but she said she cant live without her acryilcs! i have no idea what to recomend to her treatment wise!! help.

While she still has pain from the bruising there is nothing you can without causing more pain to her,
it is just unlucky for her I'm afraid,
pure pineapple juice is good for bruising, if she drinks a couple of glasses a day the bruising will subside quicker, hth

that sounds painfull! i agree the best thing is to leave them at the moment let them heal cant imagine and soaking or buffing will be good for them!

if she is still suffering with pain/bruising/swelling then tell her to get some arnica gel or cream from a health food shop.

it is brilliant at speeding up healing.

Thanks so much for your suggestions :D she said shes not in any pain any more but im gonna wait till her nail grows though and get her on that arnica and pineapple routine :D
