Ok.. I'm not getting lifting at the cuticle area what-so-ever. BUT after about 2-3 refills, sometimes I notice bubbles start to form under the product. I follow the prep instructions of the manufacturer (Young Nailz) but I don't know what else could be causing this. Do I need a new bulb in my light? I thought that might help.
Thanks guys!

New bulbs could be a possibility. They do need changing regularly but it is hard to know when and service breakdown should not be the way to find out either.

One thing i love about the CND Brisa UVLamp is that a red light comes on when you need to change the bulbs ... VERY cool feature of the lamp.

It could be pocket lifting you are seeing as the natural nail flexes beneath the gel and pulls away.

Is it a soak off gel you are using?

It's happening more with the soak-off but sometimes it happens with my hard gel, too.

If it is happening more with the soak off gel it is because it is sometimes too flexible when a harder gel is what is really needed.

If nails are soft .. use a harder gel .. if nails are hard, then a soak off gel will last better on them.

Hi Hun,
Are you possibly overworking your gel, that can make bubbles in it too.
Hope this helps.
Lotsa luv x  x

Are the bubbles whitish in colour??

If so, then I think they are more likely to be air pockets. They need either filing down to remove or soaking off

The best way to look for air pockets when doing a fill is to do the filing and then spray or wipe with sanitiser - then look at them - when they are wet you will see better

Thanks Gigi!

But the pockets are not there until they come back for a 2nd or 3rd fill. So I bet it's because they need to use a harder gel. But I'll use your tip for removing them.

Thanks you guys for all your help! I really appreciate it!
