Hi i read in a thread i think that
when you have buffed gel to a minimum you are able to soak off the remainder
is this true and how long will it take ot soak off and is this true for all buff off gels
please help:confused:

I use Brisa which is a buff off Gel I dont find it necessary to soak off any of it but it is possible to do.
I do however leave a very thin layer of gel on the natural nail which will grow out this prevents any damage to the nail and gives a little protection.

i've read that....but never tried it:green:

Buffing off a gel in the beginning if your in-experienced CAN BE scarey!!

But once you have the hang of it its easy. Just have plenty of different grit files with you.

Unless the client is no longer having nails, or it has badly lifted, its not necessary to ever buff it all off anyway.

I start with a 240/180 and then swap down to sand turtles (from light elegance LOVE THEM FILES !!)/white blocks/sponge boards.

I have read it and tried it once....never again....it didn't come off anyway and to be honest for it to work you would have to file the gel down very thin.....a few more sweeps of the file and it would be off anyway...quicker than soaking.

I never remove all the gel.....I leave a thin layer on to safely grow off....you cant see it.

Its not something that has to be done often anyway....in 5 years i think i have removed 2 sets of gels.
