Can anyone Recommend an accountant in Essex?

Hi Guys and Gals....

I'm just starting up and i am investigating the benefits and costs of accountants. I presume that accountants are like plumbers and that good ones come with a recommendation...

can anyone recommend a good accountant in Essex who doesn't charge the earth? I am trying to get onthe HMRC workshop but as they're weekdays i'm trying not to use my holiday at my boring day job....
