Ok a fast question, if you get a new client for infills or rebalance and unknown what they have on now... do you file the whole thing off or just go ahead and rebalance with your product? My daughter just new(starting up at my home based hair salon, her ad went out today andshe has had 2 calls, so she super excited but she will take them off but was wondering do you have too) and her instructor who she usually calls is on holdays.

I personally like to soak-off all the old product to start a fresh.

xx

My personal opinion is rebalance over the old product

Often if they have been somewhere else there can be nail plate damage etc, by rebalancing you at least are not exposing the nail plate to more trauma than necessary.

I personally explain that I cannot gaurantee they will be 100% until the old product has grown out entirely, however I'd rather have these minor problems than expose potentially shot natural plate.
From experience if they have been to an NSS or had their nail plate over filed, then a new set is FAR more likely to suffer service breakdown. And of course then they will say your set failed when the last one didn't, which is exactly NOT what a new tech needs to hear :)

*Of course this rule only applies if they have a compatable system (eg. L&P over L&P)

Hope that helps

I go with this one, and I have re balanced l&p over gel with no problems.

Thank you for the fast reply. She just did notto rebalance ifi it.was a no no. She has not seen the client yet to know the condition. I do know who did them but not the brand so if they look ok just rebalance.

I give the client the choice of a soak and set or rebalance but do explain that there may be a slight colour difference between brands.

There is no chemical reason to not rebalance over a different brand.
