I use strip wax and have fab results on all my wax treatments.Everyone has their own preferance though. Are you trained in hot/non strip wax wax?

iv only trained in normal pot and spatula. and i use soft wax normaly and have also used cream wax too. but this will be my 1st chest wax.

Ok,well you must not use non strip wax then or you wont be covered by your insurance(if not trained)

Make sure you check which direction the hair growth is growing as it can grow in lots of different directions on the chest, especially around the nipple area.

Try to be quick as men tend to find this quite uncomfortable.

Make sure you start on one area and have a good set routine,i.e dont start one area, then another, then onto other side.

Use a nice cooling gel following your wax procedure. You can use your hand firmly after each strip is removed, this helps ease any discomfort.

When applying the wax strip rub up and down quite hard in order to get a good contact of wax and hair.

You will probably get a fair erythema as the chest is pretty sensitive and the hair can be strong.

If the client is really hairy, clip the hair first, but make sure not too short.

Make sure you blend in the shoulder area if very hairy.

I agree with Babs, I use strip wax on my men and they all have great result with no strays or plucking to be done. Everyone has their own ways and preferences and I have tried all types of wax in 16 years of waxing and have settled for what I prefer and works better for me. I do like non strip for faces and some underarms though.
