I use nail art pens and water based acrylic craft paints x

The background colours I have used gelish but the snow man, santa's belt and red stripes on the candy cane tip and hand painted with water based paints. They will work over any background. Just have a play xx

thats fab thanks again, i definitely must get some to try! where do you get your water based paints? thanks x

Hi do you have the range near you at all, I am still at college but our tutor recommended some and I found them in the range... I also have some cheap ones that I actually bought in the 99p shop. I only do my own nail art and my mums but it lasts upto 2 weeks so can't be that bad x

Hi I did these on myself yesterday. Shellac clearly pink with wildfire tips and green rhinestones. Ignore my dodgy smilelines, it's only the 2nd time I've done them on myself x

I don't have a lot of opportunities for nail art. So, please forgive my amateur-ish work. :)

Beautiful, is this shellac and glitter paste? If so what combi of colours made this lovely midnight blue?

It's not Shellac, it's an OPI color called "Play 'till Midnight." I normally don't do Shellac on enhancements. I know there will be tons of Geeks scream at me. But, here's what I tell my clients. Shellac is $20 per service. If I polish your enhancements with regular polish, the polish is most likely going to last just as well as Shellac until your infill. At which point, I will buff off and repolish. So, I feel it's ripping you off to Shellac enhancements unless you insist! I won't say I tell clients that I WON'T use Shellac on their enhancements. I just let them know regular polish, which I do for free - included with the enhancement service - will last just as long. Added to that, I do use Shellac top coat on enhancements because the clients love the lasting shine. :)

And yes, it's glitter paste for the snowflake. :)

Here is a wee set i did tonight for my friend, not the best nails in terms of enhancements (didnt have time to lengthen her nail beds etc as she was just popping by for an hour and still ended up running over painting her snowflakes....!!!! Lol) but she wanted something a bit Blingy for her xmas night out tmrw- Its sculpted l&p with shellac masquerade flakes and a sprinkle of glitter (she insisted on glitter, i personally would have left the glitter off!)

Theyll do a turn!!!!
