Hey :)
I was just wondering when you put your Christmas tree up in the salon, I know it's really early but restaurants and a few other places have put trees up already and a display table.

This is my first Christmas in my salon and I'm not to sure when to start advertising Christmas

As late as possible lol. Seriously I do not think there is any reason to put anything Christmas related up until December at the earliest. It drives me mad but I'm a bit ba humbug really.

Mine is going up on 1st December...salon and home!

We get a real christmas tree up 1st or 2nd week in December. Only problem with real trees is they malt lots!

I was just wondering the very same thing the other day!! It's my first Christmas too!! I've decided to become festive on or around Dec 1st - I love Christmas!! Hope your business has a successful first one!! x

Thanks guys :)

I've got my autumn deals up at the moment as it's been so quite for the last few weeks, going to put Christmas decorations up first week in December, but start getting my clients to book for Christmas now if they want.

At home, I decorate a week before and they must be down by Epiphany (6th Jan) or it's bad luck

At work, I would start from Dec 1st any early and I'd have to kill myself!

Hate going normal food shopping and seeing advent calenders in SEPTEMBER!!!

Can't we get Halloween and Bonfire Night out the way first.

Valentine's cards'll be in shops on New Years Day personally it really pees me off and I'm not humbuggy at all, I just don't need commercialism to age me and I don't like how no-one younger knows the real meaning behind all these traditions anymore.

Love Christmas, but they do start advertising it far too early. I was in Tesco a few days after Christmas last yesr and they had started putting easter eggs out. For goodness sake it hadn't even been New year yet.
