hey all - just had to share ....

below are some excellent step by step instructions from Jen (Nail FX) for cleaning the Portable Filtration Unit from Tantrick / Wow Products .. isnt she fabulous !!

Spraytan Protection

****************************************************************

Unplug the Portable Filtration Unit

Un clip the two clips and open the front unit.

Take out the filter on the back of the grid, take out the wired fluted filter and the filter that sits behind the front box (yukky).

Take all three filters and rinse them under running warm water with some washing up liquid to soap up a little until the solution and water run clear.

The fluted part run under warm water up and down until it becomes clear.

All three filters can be hung on the washing line to drip dry. The wired part will take longer to dry.

For the actual box, this is a case of getting a large bowl of detergent and water and sponging down until you get it clean. It is messy - try not saturate the unit for safety reasons ! Do a little at a time then wipe dry with couch roll. A bit of a messy job but necessary.

Wipe the outside of the box with a 'Damp' cloth.

Once everything is thoroughly dry, put back into position and close the unit. Switch back on and you are good to go.

Simple job.. just a little messy.
