Right after a slight mishap with my straighteners I have to go off to Sally's to get a new pair so I might as well pick up some polish while there.

Now the college kit only had 4 polishes 2 for French manicure a pink and a lilac so I need a few more so please tell me what is your favourite polish colour and brand from Sally's (I know many of you use creative and such but it's out of my price range till I train).

I am thinking about 1 dozen good basic colour until I am experienced would be a good way to go, I'm doing natural nails.

Thanks

I think a hot pink would be nice or a nice red :)

Its quite hard when your starting from the begining, its really easy to go for the ones you like best and forget the ones the paying customer would like!!! When I started I had nearly every purple and blue but nothing else!
When your choosing try to pick quite a range so there is always something for yout clients to choose.

The 2 colours most often picked by my clients are a deep burgundy red and a bright scarlet red. Not that many go for a pale colour unless it is a french polish.

Cheers,
Hazel

Attitude is a good range, colour goes on well and lasts well (and sally's do it, or they did last time i was there).

I find pinks (particularly the brighter ones) go down really well, as do deeper shades like reds and burgundy and with the winter coming up, plums and black are always popular. HTH x

I agree,

I think a deep burghandy, bright red, a strong pink.

Apart from French, natural colours (which you have) these three are my staples. Attitude polished are a good one to start with.

Orly is also good.
I'd say 3 naturals/neutrals pearl, nudey/coffee, granny pink,
3 reds deep, bright, pinky
3 darks dark gothic plum, dark purple, black
2 way out there - orange & hot pink
You'll see over a period of time what people go for.
