Hi all

Hoping someone can help me. I bought a new couch a couple of months ago and it has a face hole as well as a face cradle (which I normally use). I'm finding that when my clients turn over when I'm massaging they pop the plug out. Its really annoying, any tips on how to stop this happening. I'm about to 'no more nails' a piece of plywood under the face hole to stop it from popping out as I never use the face hole really.

If your wondering why I bought it with a face hole in the first place, it was because the couch is 10 kg and was only about £90! :green:

When you say 'they' pop the face plug out do you mean the client literally takes it out or it falls out from them lying on it?
As if you mean the latter, my bed has a slight lip underneath so the plug stays in place, otherwise surely it would fall out all the time?

There is a lip under mine too. Its when they turn over they all seem to put their elbow on it and it forces it out. I don't know if its just where its placed. I just was wondering if it happens to anyone else. :irked:

If you're not using it at all you could just put some duct tape over it!

On mine when you put it in you basically push it in right through the top then push it down so it sits in place and its unable to just pop out on its own accord.Have you made sure its seated correctly and that you haven't just pushed it in without going right through the hole like I have mentioned?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but do you actually need it in any way. Why not take it out before the treatment then you won't have to worry about it popping out. :)

You dont need it in if you have a pillow over the top but if you didn;t and a client was laying flat(not a common position)on back then their head would fall through the hole:lol:Sorry, wicked sense of humour today!!!

Seriously,no their head wouldn't be very comfy with no insert if you didn't have a pillow/cusion.HTH
